“Fall back immediately,” Stanley ordered. “The alien is able to control the vessel’s weapons.”

“Captain, if we do fall back, the alien will be able to get into the vessel and then shoot us down,” Dalton said.

The junior officer was correct. They couldn’t fall back, but they also couldn’t let the turret target them. They didn’t have much time to act. Something had to be done.

“Move about and target the turret on the top of that vessel,” Stanley highlighted. “We need to take it out.”
